What is the WV ADA Coalition?

The ADA Coalition is a statewide, grassroots group of individuals committed to HELPING communities achieve equal access for all West Virginians. ADA Coalition membership is free and open to any interested individual or organization.

 

Who are Coalition Members?

Coalition members include people with disabilities, advocacy organizations, and others who have received training in ADA compliance.

 

What are the Priorities?

The ADA Coalition's priorities include:
• Technical Assistance – to local businesses and entities seeking to comply with the ADA
• Education & Training – on all aspects of the ADA and how to achieve compliance
• Awareness – to increase public awareness of the ADA

 

The WV ADA Coalition is a part of a project funded by the DBTAC: Mid-Atlantic Region ADA Center. The DBTAC: Mid-Atlantic ADA Center is one of ten regional centers funded by the National Institute on Disability Rehabilitation and Research (NIDRR), the U.S. Department of Education (Grant #H133A060085), to provide technical assistance, training, and materials on the Americans with Disabilities Act.
